Horse Camping with Cross State Trail Ride

Interested in horse camping or interested in learning how to horse camp? Gaited Horses of New England club members will come alongside you and teach you the ropes! We will be joining Cross State Trail Riders for their weekend ride at Myles Standish State Forest in Carver, MA. With over 12,400 acres, Myles Standish State Forest is the largest public open space in southeastern Massachusetts. For the trail rides, the mileage each day is usually between 10 and 15 miles, and a route is planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Shorter rides to your preferred length are out-and-back trails.
