DESCRIPTION:July 5 – 7\, 2024: Gaited Dressage and Horsemanship Lessons with Scot MacGregor \nLocations: For July 5 – 7: Mountain Lane Farm\, Temple\, NH\n \nRSVP to Loren Stevens at:  lhhstevens@myfairpoint.net\nWe will make a lunch run to ZIZZA PIZZA or bring your own bag lunch; we will have coffee\, water\, and snacks throughout the day. All riders must be members of GHNE for insurance purposes. \nScot MacGregor’s Bio: \nScot MacGregor is the son of World Grand Champion trainer\, Marilyn MacGregor; he began his career and training at a young age learning from his mom. He rode in the Rose Parade 7 times and exhibited a Gaited Horse at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Additionally\, he exhibited a TWH at five different Equitana USA\, the 1997 Equitana in Essen\, Germany\, four years at the Royal in Toronto\, Canada\, and was the group leader for the 2010 World Equestrian Games breed demonstrations. \nScot has presented clinics in Europe\, Canada\, the US\, and Mexico\, and judged the TWH European Championships in 2021 and 2022\, the TWH Mexican Championships\, and all over the US and Canada since 2001. Additionally\, he has judged the United Mountain Horse World Championships twice. \nIn the show ring\, he has won over 3\,000 times in 20 years of showing\, including 750 wins in AAA TWH championships. He has won 65 Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA) Western Dressage World Championships and 7 Grand Championships. And just to change it up\, this year\, Scot finished his first American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC) 50-mile endurance ride in 2023. \nCost: Private 1 hour lesson = $135\nSemi-Private 1 hour lesson = $85/each (two people)\nAudit Fee: $35/day \n

We will enjoy a private room for fellowshipping and sharing our love of horses. The cost is $40/person paid to Gaited Horse of New England (Paypal on our website). The Annual Banquet will include your choice of\n \n\nBaked Haddock\,\nPot Roast with Beef Gravy\,\nBaked Stuffed Chicken\, and\nGluten Free and Vegetarian options available (let Carolyn know)\,\n\nand sides of mashed potatoes\, vegetable garden salad\, bread rolls\, coffee\, and dessert. Our diners will have access to a cash bar for cocktails\, wine\, and beer to be purchased on an individual basis. Following the dinner we will honor our high trail-mileage winners for 2023.
